Biblical Foundation

Teaching students to honor Christ is a special responsibility. At FBC Preschool, we help students “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). As a Christian school open to all, we partner with parents and churches to build a strong Bible-based foundation, guiding students to develop a biblical worldview and positively impact God’s kingdom.

Academic and Social Development

Preschool is vital for academic and social growth. Children develop language, math, problem-solving, and social skills like sharing and cooperation, preparing them for kindergarten and beyond.

Age-Level Learning

Preschool learning tailored to each age supports growth in cognitive, social, and emotional skills. Younger kids gain from sensory, exploratory activities; older ones thrive on structured tasks promoting problem-solving and independence. Personalized learning engages every child, building confidence and a love of learning.

Grow their confidence

At Floyd Baptist Preschool, we are dedicated to nurturing emotional, physical, social, and spiritual confidence from an early age. By providing a supportive environment, we help children develop self-awareness and emotional regulation, encouraging healthy interactions and strong relationships. Our activities promote physical coordination and wellness, while fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth. Building these foundational strengths prepares children to navigate life with resilience, kindness, and confidence.

Watch them flourish

The foundations of learning established at an early age provide lifelong benefits by fostering critical cognitive, social, and emotional skills. Early exposure to language, problem-solving, and interpersonal interactions supports brain development, enhances memory, and builds a solid framework for future academic success. These foundational experiences encourage curiosity, resilience, and a positive attitude toward learning that extend well beyond childhood, influencing career opportunities, personal growth, and overall well-being throughout an individual's life.
